Eric Wong is a physiotherapist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience in acute hospital, outpatient orthopaedic, and private practice settings in Hong Kong and Canada.
Eric graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong in 2005. He is rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario for acupuncture, dry needling, and spinal manipulation. He has also completed additional training in concussion management, kinesiology taping, sports and exercise nutrition, spinal manipulation, dry needling, and acupuncture.
At Cohesion, Eric’s approach is structured around assessment, clinical reasoning, patient education, active rehabilitation, and reassessment. Ms. Winnie Wong PT, Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc
Winnie is a Registered Physiotherapist who holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Western University. Her academic background includes research in pain and acupuncture.
She is also a qualified ballet teacher. This background informs her interest in movement, coordination and the physical demands of dance, alongside her experience treating dance-related injuries.
Her clinical experience spans hospital and outpatient settings in Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore, including Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, West Park Healthcare Centre, United Christian Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. Richard is a Registered Physiotherapist and the founder and Clinic Director of Cohesion. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before completing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
His clinical experience spans rehabilitation settings in Canada and the United States, including medical rehabilitation, intensive care, emergency departments, and inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic care. His experience also includes treating national-level athletes and patients with military backgrounds.
His background in kinesiology—the study of human movement—shaped Cohesion’s focus on understanding how people move and helping patients improve everyday function. Richard considers how movement, strength, loading and the demands of daily activities relate to each patient’s symptoms and goals.
Richard provides hands-on therapy, individualized exercise and movement education without using treatment machines. He explains his findings and treatment choices, works with patients to establish meaningful functional goals and provides practical guidance for between appointments.
